This is a topic that just recently came up. I read them on occasion, daily for art tutorials. What do you read them for?
This is an encaustic monotype mounted on panel available for purchase here through Kreuser Gallery, Colorado Springs CO. It is a fun process and hope to share that with you soon, as I plan on teaching this class locally, with a possibility of an online class. An encaustic monotype is created on a hot printing plate with encaustic wax and paper. It is a printing process, but you only get one original print at a time.
There are many ways to create monotypes. Here is another example.
I hope this will start your curiosity with encaustic. I have lots to share and many examples. Have a artful week.
